Beautifying the expanse of cracked concrete that served as a garden for our barn conversion home was always going to be a challenge. Having lived for ten years with raised sleeper beds we decided to bite the bullet. Ian didn’t raise an eyebrow-well not at least in front of us- and produced a draft plan for us to consider. The planning process was brilliant; we felt supported in making good choices but never pressurised and Ian was so patient when we wanted to make adjustments.
The project started and finished exactly on schedule. There was the minimum of fuss and mess, despite the significant amount of concrete that had to go, and the team were a pleasure to have on the premises. We watched our vision grow and the reality was just as good as the drawings. The quality of the materials used and the attention to detail in both construction and planting ensured an absolutely top-class outcome.
The finished garden meets all our expectations. It looks fantastic, is easy to manage and suits our lifestyle. We would certainly recommend Ian and his team to anyone thinking of a garden make-over- however unpromising the original site they can make you a garden to be proud of.
